Green with Drama: Promoting Environmental Awareness through Drama Activities
Based on the educational play “The Green Kitchen”, by The Performers, this session will work around an eco-friendly drama-based project. The play’s moral value of caring for the environment by promoting awareness of the Three R’s (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) will be explored using a PBL approach fuelled by drama. Apart from a trip to the theatre, the variety of other experiences involved in this project include visualizations, dramatic play, storytelling, object transformation, recycled costume and props design and drama games.
